KWKT: Bonham Middle School students show off technology skills
TEMPLE, Texas – It was a night full of technology and innovative advancements at Bonham Middle School in Temple Thursday!
Students from every grade level at the secondary campus showcased their Lego robotics and advanced higher learning skills to parents and even a special guest, Mr. Jim Wade, Vice President of Retail Product Management for PDI Software for their third annual technology night.
The students were able to bring their families to the campus and explain how they incorporate technology into every subject they use including science, social studies, and even English.
Close to 40 eighth-grade students in Mr. Johnson’s class will receive high school credit for the robotics and software building class.
“I think they’re excited! they’ve learned so much, they have so much to show, i think it’s great that the kids are learning so much and the parents are coming out and showing them what they’re learning for today’s technology,” said Richard Johnson, Technology Teacher at Bonham.
The students are gearing up for a robotics competition to be held in January.
